Elizabeth Waggett is a British contemporary artist who creates free-spirited depictions of animals, skulls, and personal trinkets. Her work explores the profound relationship between where we place value and purpose in our consumer-driven society. 

Bee is the second release from Waggett’s 2023 Halo Series, a collection that celebrates the circle of life, and the creatures that are fundamental to our existence. 

“The bee is the symbol of my hometown of Manchester, but energy wise they just feel so good for me to draw over and over again. I feel so much synergy with bees. They’re hard-working, determined, drawn to beauty – they’ve been a kind of spirit animal over the course of my healing journey.”

From a limited edition of 8, this giclée print is hand-embellished with 22ct gold foil, and comes signed, numbered and embossed by the artist.
