Each piece combines silkscreen, collage, and hand-painted elements. McLean dedicated several weeks to working on each individual piece at the studio. Reflecting on his time there, he said: "I like working at Worton Hall because I work well with the artists who help me. I make the work as I go along; I don’t come with a set notion of what the work’s going to be."
